However, the conventional die casting process has defects, because the gas in the mold cavity can not be effectively eliminated during high-speed injection, leaving the inside of the casting, forming porosity defects, resulting in poor mechanical properties of the casting. In order to solve this problem, people adopt the method of vacuumizing, that is, the gas in the die cavity is drawn out during the die casting to form a certain vacuum or negative pressure state, so as to reduce the porosity defects inside the casting.

For a long time, in order to broaden the application of die casting and improve the mechanical properties of die casting, people have studied some new die casting methods, such as laminar filling method (ultra-low speed die casting method), oxygen filled die casting method and vacuum die casting method.

The main purpose of the above methods is to reduce the phenomenon of air entrainment in the filling process of liquid metal, so as to improve the mechanical properties of castings.

Due to the low production efficiency of laminar filling method, the complex operation process and the difficult control of process parameters, the two methods are not widely used in actual production. The principle of vacuum die casting is to pump out the gas in the cavity and fill the cavity with liquid metal in vacuum, so the gas involved is less and the mechanical properties of the casting are improved.

And the vacuum die casting method is the same as the common die casting method, which is convenient to operate and does not reduce the production efficiency. Therefore, since the emergence of vacuum die casting method, it has shown strong vitality. With the development of related technology, its application will be more and more extensive.
